Mon Kaczyk is an artist, educator and explorer, who examines the human condition and traverses topics on communication, stillness, and evolution. They analyze and question how we ingest information, and how we nourish our soul and value contrasting, expanding emotions. Kaczyk translates concepts through the use of sensorial and tactile materials, and utilizes personal possessions and natural materials, including garments, teabags, hair, or thorns. 

They create objects both two and three dimensionally. Their mixed media approach stems from their diverse education. After receiving a BFA in design and photography at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia and Rome, they explored in-depth workshops in encaustics, surface design, and metals.

Kaczyk merges studio time with their position as outreach coordinator at Artistree Community Art Center, bringing the power of the arts to children, seniors and underserved communities—making art accessible to all.
